During the project time, the partners commited to develop the idea of mobile math trails in different ways:
- create tools which will help teachers to easily create math trails for their students
- create a catalogue of generic tasks which can be found frequently
- create material and a schedule for a long-term curriculum in pre-teacher and in-service teacher education
The results are structured in seven different Intellecutal Outputs:
IO1: Mobile Application
IO2: Authoring App
IO3: Webportal
IO4: Community Website
IO5: Generic Tasks
IO6: Long-Term Curriculum
IO8: Validation and Reserach
Within the following sections, you can learn more about the contents of the Intellectual Outputs.
Mobile Applications
Two mobile applications, one for navigation and running math trails, and one for creating math trails will be developed and improved. The mobile apps will be provided for students, teachers and people who want to discover math in their environment.
Web Portal
In this section, an interactive web portal which provides authoring tools to easily and fast create math trails will be created. The web portal should further allow interaction between users in order to create a community in which the users work together and share tasks with other users.
Generic Tasks
We develop a catalogue of generic tasks, which is a collection of tasks that can be found outside and easily be adapted to the needs of the users. This supports the interactive web portal with lots of ideas for mathematical problems.
Curriculum
A long-term curriculum for a seminar/course for university students, which will be accredited with 3 ECTS for Erasmus students amongst the partner universities will be developed an evaluated.
