Application

If you are interested in joining the teacher training in Granada, we kindly invite you to apply for participation. The course is limited to 20 participants.

Our Offer:

  • An exchange of experiences with other teachers on outdoor education and MathCityMap
  • The possibility to get in contact and become member of an international teacher community
  • The participation in workshops and lectures on new and relevant features on MathCityMap and outdoor education
  • A certificate of attendance and the chance to become a MathCityMap Junior Reviewer

Payment and Funding:

  • The MoMaTrE project offers all chosen participants a full funding of the costs for the accomodation, the conference fee and meals
  • If you wish for a financial support of your travelling expenses, please send an e-mail to the corresponding national contact person (see below)

Requirements for Participation:

  • You are an European teacher in mathematics
  • You have good English language skills
  • You are already familiar with the MathCityMap system
  • You created at least one MathCityMap trail
  • Your MathCityMap trail was run with students
  • You are willing to exchange your experiences and contribute to the teacher training with a poster presentation (format: DIN A1)

Application:

For the application process, we ask you to send us your application until 15th January 2020. Please use the application form with the following information:

  • One page motivational letter in which you introduce yourself and present your favorite MathCityMap task
  • The name of at least one MathCityMap trail that you created and that you conducted with a school class
