We are very pleased to announce the publication of the ROSETA proceedings! The e-book is freely available as open access following this link: https://www.wtm-verlag.de/DOI-Deposit/978-3-95987-144-0/978-3-95987-144-0-Book.pdf

CORONA VIRUS UPDATE – 27th March 2020

At the moment, it does not seem possible to conduct the ROSETA conference in June 2020 in Porto. Therefore, the registration and payment processes as well as the corresponding deadlines are annulled temporarily. This does not affect the publication of all accepted papers!

The submission phase is over and we are very happy that we received numerous papers. We stay with our timeline and start the review process immediately. Every authors receives a feedback by the middle of April. Afterwards, there will be time for revisions. Independent from the conference, ALL ACCEPTED PAPERS WILL BE PUBLISHED. The proceedings will be an open access with an individual DOI for each article. They will be published with the original date of the conference in June 2020.

CORONA VIRUS UPDATE – 18th March 2020

The current situation makes it very difficult for all of us to make any plans. The same is for our ROSETA conference which makes it unpredictable for us to give any forecast on its conduct. We are still hoping the best since there are three months left.

We will publish our conference proceedings as open access in a well-known German publisher house even if the conference might not take place.

Furthermore, there will be a second publication with selected papers to be extended published by Cambridge Scholars.

So if you want to publish in the proceedings, you are very welcome to submit a paper, even if your travel to the conference is uncertain. The deadline will be extended to 25th March 2020.

The Research on Outdoor STEM Education in the digiTal Age (ROSETA) Conference will take place between 16th and 19th June 2020 at Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto in Portugal. Invited are all members of the educational and scientific STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) community which are interested and experienced in outdoor education.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education has always been a very important issue for the wealth of the mankind. Nowadays there are many initiatives which spend a lot of efforts by integrating digital technologies in STEM classes.

With this conference, we intend to:

  • receive and share inputs from the STEM community,
  • share outdoor learning experiences,
  • disseminate the MoMaTrE intellectual outputs and the MathCityMap system to the scientific and educational community,
  • invite new members to the European Mobile Math Trail network.
